ROUTE

From Port Elizabeth, after the toll gate on the N2 in Tsitsikamma you take turn-off ‘Kurland Village’ left on the N2 (about 20 mins after toll-gate). Follow the tarmac road for about 1 km until it forks; keep following this road to the left (to the right you go to MonkeyLand, Birds of Eden and Peppermill Restaurant). Follow this hard road past the Rugby field for another 1 km (after 500 m. there's a sharp bend to the right and the road changes to 'gravel') until you come past the ‘Tenikwa Wildlife Sanctuary’ turn-off on your right. Just past this turn-off you must turn left into Robbie’s Road. Follow this dirt road for 1 km. At the end of this road you drive into the entrance of African Crags Eco-Lodge. The gate which is halfway this dirt road functions on solar battery (code 5858#) but if the sun hasn't been shining, the gate is on manual. Please open & close accordingly. At the end of this road you drive into the entrance of African Crags Eco-Lodge.

From Cape Town drive on the N2 and stay on the N2 going past the town of Plettenberg Bay. After the Plettenberg Bay turn-off, drive for about 20 km’s on the N2 until you see a turn-off sign to your right: ‘Kurland Village, Birds of Eden, MonkeyLand’. Follow the tarmac road for about 1 km until it forks; keep following this road to the left (to the right you go to MonkeyLand, Birds of Eden and Peppermill Restaurant). General advice: When driving on 'dirt' or 'gravel' roads please adjust your speed accordingly. After heayy rainfalls the road can get slippery and/or bumpy but if you adjust your speed you'll be fine.
